What is Field Day?

Field Day is a fun, school-wide event held near the end of the school year where students enjoy a day full of outdoor games and activities.

Instead of regular classes, students rotate through a variety of activity stations such as relay races, obstacle courses, water games, and team challenges. The event is designed to promote teamwork, physical activity, and school spirit in a fun and engaging way.

For Field Day, your student will need:

  • to wear a t-shirt (or swim shirt), short, socks, and tennis shoes or water shoes (swimsuits may be worn with shorts for girls, swim trunks and a t-shirt for boys) No bikinis, sandals, or crocs allowed.
  • a hat and/or sunglasses (optional)
  • a lunch
  • a full change of clothes
  • a bag for wet clothes
  • a beach towel

Donations and Membership Support needed!

Attention Cheatham Community — we need your help!
With fewer donations and memberships this year, we’re relying on our amazing community to help us bounce back and cover our budget shortfall. Every bit of support makes a difference for our students and school programs.

How you can help:

1. Become a Cheatham PTA Member -$11.50 per person

(We suggest at least one parent and one student per household!)

2. Make a Donation! -Suggest $25 per student

(Donors who contribute $100 or more will be recognized and celebrated on our website!)

3. Volunteer -Support student programs and advocacy efforts
