Cheatham PTA is excited to participate in the National PTA School of Excellence Program, a national initiative designed to strengthen partnerships between families, schools, and PTAs.

Steps to Becoming a National PTA School of Excellence

Through this program, we aim to:

• Strengthen communication and relationships between families, teachers, and school leaders.

• Better understand the needs and concerns of our school community.

• Identify opportunities to improve family engagement and student experiences.

• Develop an action plan based on feedback from our families.

• Work toward earning National PTA School of Excellence recognition.

Step 1. Enroll and Get Started (May 1 – Oct. 15)

Step 2. Gather and Analyze Community Feedback (August – Dec. 1)

Step 3. Build an Excellence Action Plan and Check Back with your Community (November  – May)

Step 4. Reflect On and Summarize Progress (May 1 - June 15)

Step 5. Celebrate Your Excellence (Aug.)

We are still looking for volunteers interested in helping us review survey results, develop an action plan, and support improvements throughout the school year.
