Cheatham Charter Families & Businesses are committed to providing an enriched educational environment for the students of Cheatham Elementary through the generous financial support of Cheatham PTA. In 2010, these families or businesses donated $100 or more to Cheatham PTA to become charter members. Their names are remembered on a plaque in the school. Our growing community places a high value on education. Charter Families and supporters of Cheatham PTA want to go the extra mile to provide our children with the best possible educational resources available. As a brand new school there will be many needs that we couldn’t have forecasted.

Many parents realize the importance of supporting our school with a little extra funding to provide the best resources for our students. Many of these same parents are too busy to participate in selling the traditional PTA items. Charter Families is the easiest way to support the Cheatham PTA. Of course, any little bit helps and your participation is welcome at all PTA events.

Charter Family donations support PTA programs throughout the school year and they directly affect the lives of our students. Some examples of how your donations will be used are: building a student assist fund, adding to existing classroom reading materials and math teaching tools, and sponsoring field trips. The Campus Improvement Team will work during the school year on needs assessments and the PTA will vote on how best to contribute.
